We can tell you right off the bat that this thing is going down on Friday, September 19th, 2008. I suppose you want to know how to get there.
Invitations versus Announcements...
This website effectively acts as our announcement. We're trying to save for a house, so we're aiming for frugality, and that means as little expensive throw-away paper as possible!
We will, however, be mailing invitations. Not everyone has the means for or interest in computing.
What's done so far...
- Ceremony site obtained: Weddings of Wayzata (outdoors!). (maps)
- Reception site obtained: Bayview Event Center (will have indoor/outdoor setting). (maps)
- The food.
- The cake.
- The flowers. Yeah, her website is pretty awful. Drew is actually offsetting some costs by redesigning it for her.
- Officiant hired.
- Friend and photographer Clay Johnston hired.
- Hand-constructed invites sent out!
What's in progress...
- Obtaining wedding bands.
